Pettenasco is located north of Orta S. Giulio facing the lake: strolling along its well kept and scenic lakeside walkway - entitled to Peter Benenson, the founder of Amnesty International, who used to spend here his holydays - you’ll enjoy a really lovely view!

The unique location on the lake and its proximity to Orta explain why Pettenasco attracts every year thousands of tourists, and not only in the high season!
In summer its beautiful beaches, perfect for sunbathing and swimming, are crowded with people all day! From here you can also reach by motorboat the picturesque Island San Giulio in a few minutes.

The medieval parish church dedicated to the saints Audenzio and Caterina was rebuilt in late 18th century, but its ancient medieval stone bell-tower (11th century) is luckily still standing!
